Sip & Paint takes place right at The Mill at Ward Cove inside the Welcome Center. You bring your creativity and imagination, and we provide the art supplies and most importantly, the beverages! Choose your inspiration from the art library or one of your own photographs and then settle in with your palette of colors and get painting! It doesn’t matter if you’re an artistic genius or a complete beginner, this activity is about making fun art and memories to take home, so grab a paintbrush in one hand, a drink in the other, and get creative!

- To access the Welcome Center, drive all of the way down the hill and turn right. The Employee & Visitor Parking is on the right-hand side before you get to the bus parking area.

What You’ll See & Do
Head to the Ward Cove Welcome Center where you will be greeted by our friendly staff. Take a seat by your easel and listen to the introduction for this fun activity while sipping on wine or beer.
Once the introduction is over, you are free to create your own masterpiece using your chosen palette of colors. It doesn’t matter if you’re not a trained artist as you’re creating fun art, not fine art! And who knows, you may find you have an undiscovered talent along the way!
This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with friends and family or make new friends in a fun and relaxing atmosphere and there are plenty of spectacular views to inspire you on your Alaskan vacation and you’ll have something to share for years to come.
Once this activity is over, you’ll have time to take a look around Ward Cove and partake in some shopping.
